Spring 2012 Scholarship Photo Contest

ELI’s full name, Experiential Learning International, reflects our philosophy:
We believe that the most compelling life lessons come through experience, and that international
experiences are among the most profound influences on our sense of self and our view of the
world.

Our goal is to offer affordable international programs, making international travel accessible to
more people. In line with this mission, ELI regularly sponsors scholarship contests for aspiring
travelers. The top three essays will be published online, and the winning essayist will receive a
$500 scholarship. This scholarship can be applied to any ELI program beginning in 2012.
The contest is open to students and non-students, volunteers and interns. All nationalities are
encouraged to apply.

Spring Contest

Submit a photo and a short, descriptive paragraph in English OR Spanish to compete for a $500 scholarship towards one of our Central or South American programs!  We’d love to see photos of your travels and hear about some of your adventures around the world.  The top submissions will be posted on our website to be voted on by all of our Facebook friends.  Deadline for submissions is May 18.  Good luck!

Please note this scholarship can be only used towards our programs in Ecuador, Peru, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala or Mexico.
