Denada in Shanghai
Denada, from Albania, and a friend traveled to Shanghai, China to participate in the Medical Internship Program.
Out and About

Traditional Chinese Medicine
With the accupuncture doctor in the hospital. He was so friendly and even tried to accupuncture me. I was so scared at first :P Chinese Traditional Medicine was really interesting. I think we should put this subject in our universities :)
Preparing for Surgery
This is one of the operation rooms. They were so clean and organized.
In My Scrubs
This is me in the operation room. The doctors helped us to attend some procedures and they explained how medicine worked in China. We learned a lot of things that were different from our country.
Surgery
This was so funny. These guys beat us all over our bodies with those sticks, even on the head, and to our surprise, afterwards, we felt relaxed and energetic.

Guardian Lion
With a beautiful Chinese girl. They all looked at us as though we were from another world and wanted to make a photo with us. It was so funny because they stopped us on the streets and were so happy happy to make photos with us.
Market
Food in China was not very good for my taste. They ate strange things and cooked with sugar and spicy. I could only eat KFC for the whole entire month. If you want to lose weight, go to China.
Yuyuan Garden
The old city, Yuyuan Garden. The only part of Shanghai that was traditional and it was very beautiful. You could find temples, tea houses, and pagodas. Very interesting place to visit.
Shanghai Expo
China Pavilion in Expo Shanghai. Expo was really intereating. For the Chinese this was the biggest even in their country. "Haibao", the mascot, was everywhere--even in the electricity bill :P. Better City, Better Life.
Taoist Temple
Praying in a Chinese temple, Taoism temple. They offered their gods fruits and burned some scented candles.
Water Village
Zhujiajiao, Shanghai's Venice. A very picturesque place to visit.
